About The Event
One Day I am Thinking of a Colour: Orange  I think of orange I think of what is orange I think what I can make orange.  This is a collection of new works by William Ford.  Using paper pulp, string and rubber tubing he creates sculptural wall pieces that he considers three-dimensional drawings. The artist seldom draws; when he does he scribbles or doodles. The drawings want to be realized in materials. This work allows them to become real. The title of the show is taken from Frank O’Hara’s poem ‘Why I am not a Painter’.  Preview on Friday 27th September 6pm-11pm at The Hot Tin with a fully licensed bar and a specially customised cocktail to mark the opening of the exhibition.     HAPPY HOUR COCKTAILS - - - - 6-8PM Â
